Welcome to the HIV/AIDS Law Project

The HIV/AIDS Law Project (HALP) assists individuals living with HIV and AIDS to lead lives of greater independence by providing the highest quality civil legal assistance through our staff and volunteers to the HIV-infected communities of Maricopa and Pinal counties.

Services provided include, but are limited to, Social Security, AHCCCS, housing, discriminiation, confidentiality, insurance, debt collection, estate planning and free notary service to clients.

The Project provides homebound and hospital visits to persons unable to travel to the office. The $8,000 this program received through Aunt Rita’s Foundation, as a result of SavorLIFE and AIDS Walk Phoenix allowed us to provide more services to clients throughout Maricopa and Pinal Counties.

The program was also able to develop community education materials for distribution to clients and the public at health fairs, community fundraisers and other events.
